MEC group was born in 1998. When CEO Mr. Jiang left from Boart Longyear, he established a small processing factory and registered a brand named “JJ”, producing high quality shank adapters, couplings and small button bits. In 2002 he began to cooperate with Bao Steel technologist to focus on research and innovation of thread button bits, bench drilling rods, and hand tools. With the development of polycrystalline diamond compact mining tools, in 2005 MEC began PDC mining bits market research, and cooperated with a PDC manufacturer with holding of 48% share. In 2010 MEC purchased two surface Top hammer drill rigs for rent, matching our rock drilling tools.
